Careers

Freihat Attorneys firmly believes in the importance of investing in the future of the Firm and the legal industry in the Middle East, which is ultimately molded by our people, the intellectual capital of our Firm, who make us who we are and enable us to provide our clients with the high-caliber services they desire, and contribute our part to the development of the legal industry in the Middle East. Therefore, we seek to hire the brightest lawyers who are not only intelligent and legally capable, but who also appreciate a lawyer’s crucial role in shaping the economic and social landscape through their legal careers.

Our attorney development philosophy is based on transferring experience. Our team is committed to ensuring that every attorney is a proactive educator and learner, seeking to transfer their knowledge and expertise to the next generation of lawyers, whilst seeking to continuously learn from the people and experiences surrounding them.

– Qualified Attorneys

We seek attorneys who are proactive, ready to handle high levels of responsibility, and who embody the core values of the Firm.

Interested attorneys should e-mail their CVs and cover letters to our Office Manager, Rana Al-Saidi, at rana@freihatattorneys.com.

– Trainees & Interns

Our training program runs for two years, or one year if the trainee has obtained a master’s degree. Our Training Program commences upon the candidate successfully passing the traineeship exams at the Jordanian Bar Association either in February or September of a given year.

We run a flexible training program. During their time at the Firm, trainees should expect to develop experience in our contentious and non-contentious groups, developing equal levels of experience in both departments, in order to be able to make an informed decision as to what they would like to specialize in once they qualify.

In order to entrench our commitment to the philosophy of transferring of experience, each trainee will be seated next to an associate who will be responsible for the training and assessment of the trainee. Trainees should expect to sit with two associates; an associate who specializes in contentious matters, and one who specializes in non-contentious matters.

Interested trainees should e-mail their CVs and cover letters to our Office Manager, Rana Al-Saidi, at rana@freihatattorneys.com.

Interns

We run four, two-week internship programs annually, one in the winter and three in the summer. During an internship, an intern should expect to be seated with an associate in order to gain firsthand experience of our work.

Interested students should e-mail their CVs and cover letters to our Office Manager, Rana Al-Saidi, at rana@freihatattorneys.com.
